Parents

When families feel confident, connected, and valued as part of the school community, students thrive. Our work with parents strengthens the relationship between home and school by recognising and building on families' knowledge, languages, and experiences.

Parent English Classes

From £13 per parent per class (12-week block)

Why run parent classes at your school?

  • Parents build the language and confidence to engage with school life.
  • Families contribute more confidently to conversations about learning.
  • Stronger home–school connections support better outcomes for students.
  • Parents feel equipped to actively support their child’s learning.
  • Relationships between families and schools are strengthened through trust and collaboration.

How does it work?

  • Weekly group classes, delivered online or in person (location dependent) and tailored to your school’s context.
  • Differentiated classes (10-15 parents per group) at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
  • Schools hosting parent classes receive one free termly CPD session for teachers.

Thank you so much for the amazing and enjoyable time! I especially loved the conversation lessons we can use in school life. I feel truly happy to have met my teacher and classmates! I’m looking forward to the next term as well.

I used to feel nervous when speaking English, and I was embarrassed because I wasn’t confident about my pronunciation and grammar. But in this class, I was able to share my opinions and present my writing. I think that’s because the atmosphere created by Laurie (and my classmates) was so warm and comfortable.
