A joined-up approach to
Multilingualism & EAL

Every learner — and every language — brings value to the classroom.

At EAL Inclusive, we help schools move beyond "support" towards building a multilingual culture where the strengths of staff, students, and families are recognised, celebrated, and built upon.

Each strand of our work makes a difference in its own right.

Brought together, they shape a school environment where multilingualism isn't an add-on, but an asset at the heart of learning.

Leaders

Strong leadership sets the tone and the vision. We work with school leaders to create clear strategies, embed inclusive policies, and align multilingual priorities with wider school goals — whether through a short, focused kickstart or a full transformation journey.

Teachers

Teachers are the daily difference-makers. Our CPD and curriculum support builds confidence, consistency, and practical strategies for language-rich teaching — making every subject more accessible, without adding to workload.

Students

Every multilingual learner brings strengths and knowledge to the classroom. Through tuition and induction programmes, we help students build the language, confidence, and connections they need to thrive in your curriculum and beyond.

Parents

Families are powerful partners in learning. Our parent English classes and partnership workshops strengthen two-way communication, helping parents feel confident, valued, and fully engaged in school life.

Who we work with

Really well delivered and very helpful. I can see a lot of this working in a number of my lessons which I’m looking forward to applying.

ECTs, OTSA

The strategies were really helpful. I was hoping that we would be given strategies that we would be able to use in class! That's exactly what I got. A bank of great ideas. Thank you.

ECTs, OTSA

This session provided insights into the effective strategies for supporting multilingual learners, emphasising the importance of culturally responsive teaching, scaffolding, language development and integrating content and language objectives.

Class teacher, HELP International School

It gave me a fresh lens to review teaching and learning and time to reflect on my practice. I enjoyed the discussions and sharing it prompted amongst us as colleagues, as well as some useful tools for reflecting on practice that will enhance learning for ALL children.

Class teacher, Tanglin Trust School

A very informative and well structured development program.

Class teacher, Overseas Family School

I enjoyed taking a step back to reflect on what it would be like to be an EAL learner and ensuring that we think about how this makes learners feel within the classroom and how to overcome any boundaries and challenges they may face.

Class teacher, Kings College Latvia

Thank you for an insightful session.

EAL teacher, AIMS, Malaysia

Hugely enjoyable and thought provoking.

EAL teacher, AIMS, Malaysia
