30 hours of live, online learning + downloadable tools + targeted implementation and evaluation activities.
 
Early bird pricing for 2025-26 is £2,500 per school. This includes up to five places for staff to attend all training sessions, in addition to all staff access to the resources and tools for whole-school implementation.

Meet your trainer:
Soofia Amin

 

Soofia Amin is an Assistant Head Teacher at Kensington Primary, which is part of TTLT academy. She is an Specialist Lead in Education for Multilingualism and has vast experience in supporting multilingual pupils and their families. Soofia is passionate about developing excellent practice for multilingual pupils whilst promoting their first languages as a resource in the classroom and the wider school. It is important that schools offer a whole school approach for multilingual pupils, which she is able to provide support for by using her own school’s example. Soofia has been actively training and supporting schools across London, collaborating with borough leads and teacher training agencies. Most recently, Soofia has been working with the DfE to enhance community engagement and improve provision for multilingual learners in priority areas. This included auditing schools, supporting leadership and providing bespoke support to primary and secondary settings.

Her work was recognised by the EAL Academy in 2020 through the EAL Quality Mark gold award and when winning the Pearson Primary school of the year. Her recent collaboration with London Metropolitan University has ensured that teachers are developing up to date knowledge and expertise in this area, whilst also creating a multilingual library for the school community. She is also working with Academics from UCL on research around multilingual pupils and the skills they bring with them to the education setting.
